What happens in a therapy session?
In your first session, the therapist invites you to share what’s on your mind, or if there is something specific you want to discuss. The therapist can help you disentangle overwhelming emotions, help you figure out why you have specific reactions to certain situations, and discuss healthy coping mechanisms for life's challenges
What are the qualifications of the volunteering professionals?
All mental healthcare volunteering professionals listed on Veda are either counselling psychologists or clinical pscyhologists with 2-21yrs of experience. Those that are listed as clinical psycologists have an RCI license as per the requisite mandate.
Yoga, Meditation professionals are experts in their fields and are practiced instructors.
What is the duration of one therapy session?
One therapy session is 20mins arranged on Google Meet. Veda will share the link after succesfully scheduling the session!
Will the therapist/instructor know my personal details?
What should I do if I want to schedule with the same person again?
You can keep querying the bot until you see the therapist of your choice. A more direct way will be possible in 2 weeks.
How much money should I pay?
An average therapy session can cost anywhere between Rs. 500 - Rs. 3000.
